What is going on?
In a years time I am going to be older than I am now so I'm going to have a party.
How old will you be?
I will be 30 years old on 12th September 2010.
Who are you?
Cameron Fletcher. This is my website.
Where is the party?
The party is taking place in small place called Agay located on the French Riviera directly between Cannes and St Tropez, chosen solely for its name. The road trip will start and end in Glasgow.
There’s a road trip too?
Yes. It's optional. If you choose to come on it we will cross the English Channel on the way out between Portsmouth and Le Harve. The trip back will include travelling over the Alps to Geneva and the opportunity to drive around the Nürburgring before crossing the Channel between Calais and Dover.
When is all of this happening?
The road trip will start on 8th September 2010 and finish on 22nd September 2010.
The holiday in Agay will start on 11th September 2010 and finish on 18th September 2010.
Who is invited?
This is an open invitation. If you know Cameron then that’s a plus. The legend that is Sean is invited.
I thought Sean was dead/living in a cave/both?
Sean is alive and well and no longer lives in a cave although his situation may change prior to my birthday. He still answers to "the Dog".
What will it cost?
Early indications are that to rent a villa with a swimming pool will cost between £150 and £300 per person for the week. Cheaper prices can be found for less luxurious accommodation. You are responsible for your own accommodation. Flights to Nice are avalible from both Easyjet and Ryanair from various locations.
If you’re coming on the road trip it will cost more but probably less than £1000 per car including fuel and accommodation for two people.
What do we do whilst we’re there?
A number of optional activities will be planned for the time we’re there. There’s talk of day trips to Cannes, and hiring a yacht and sailing to St. Tropez, etc. You can do as little or as much as you want.
I’m not invited, can I come?
Yes. Bring your mates.
Are you for real?
Yes.
Can I still come if I’m not gay?
There is no restriction on staying in Agay based on sexual orientation.
Where can I get more information?
It's a while off, so there isn't that much information put together yet. If you subscribe to the Facebook invite then you'll see updates as and when they occur. Alternatively, you can send an email to me using the link below (next question) and I'll keep you updated.
How do I sign up?
If you want to be officially recognised as coming along and sent regular updates about the holiday/party then send an email to me.
